An Interview With A Blogger

Well thank you so much chelle for taking the time to do this for me. Especially considering how busy you are! You're awesome.

1. What is your favorite movie of all time?

I have lots of favorite movies, but number one has to be "The Outsiders". I flipped channels and found it on last night, man they were all so young back then. A close second has to be anything with Brendan Fraser in it, I LOVE him.

2.We all know that you loved hairspray bands....did you have the massive bangs and hair to match?

Sadly when I think back I so had the big bangs, not so much the whole head though LOL.

3. What is the hardest part of being a mom to three girls?

I think in this day and age one of thie biggest challenges I will face is making my girls understand that these size 2 models/actresses and such are NOT the norm. Body image is a hard thing these days. I especially worry with a preteen in the house.

4. If you could party with one band in any era which one would it be?

Definately Bon Jovi! They were my were my 1st concert ever. Loved em!

5. What would be the perfect gift from yor husband?

Hmmm good question? I would have to say right now it would be a trip back to Winnipeg in April to see my best friends grad ceremony from nursing. Sadly with him switching jobs and such it's not likely to happen.

Well this was fun to do. Thanks again chelle!

Spring Break and weird music.

Yipeeeee Spring Break is here. To boot it even is starting to look like spring I even had a lovely little lake in the corner of my basement to prove it GRRRRRRR!!! Crossing fingers thats it for this year.

So the other day Morgyn ever so nicely told me I use to listen to "weird" music! This coming from the kid who went to the Billy Talent concert in January with her Dad (which hey was quite fair as I did Hilary Duff while I was 6mths pregnant). And to sum up what Dad said well it was 3 hours of screaming of well how do you spell how they scream these bands?? I guess the only words that were understandable were the swear words, see how I lucked out a good ole Hilary.

So awhile back I downloaded some old stuff I hadn't heard in a while, a bit of Motley Crue, Poison, Scorpions, Quiet Riot Cinderella even some Twistes Sister for good old nostalgic I mean was I the only one out there excited as a 9 yr old to get the Twisted Sister cassette tape for x-mas??

And this I'm told was the weird music? I guess that I can only hope that one day she is in my shoes and her kids are like OMG Mom that Billy Talent/Fall Out Boys/My Chemical Romance music is so weird! I have to say that these bands are ok too.

I enjoy alot of different varieties of music, weird and all I guess old and new.

My girls

These are my girls. We try and snap a picturefor our x-mas cards each year and this is this past year. Jillian is on the left Morgyn is in the middle and Kamryn the right. Jillian well being 18mths at the time was not ready to sit for many pictures we got we 1 and this was it LOL.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Well we had a visit from a little Leprechaun last night.

Kamryn came home from school on Friday quite excited about their search for the elusive pot of gold, which happened to be found by the other kindergarden class. As they searched it seems that a sneaky Leprechaun "trahsed their classroom" LOL. This was the talk of the evening I must say.

So I thought to myslef we might just have to have our own visit. Kamryn was so excited to discover that the living room lamp was on the kithcen table, their toothbrush holder on the stove, their jackets hanging from the ceiling fan to name a few. She literally did a flying leap into my bed to "tell" me all about it.

I love the innocense of this age. Considering the age spread of our girls I'm thankful Morgyn is an awesome play along sister. She does the Santa/Tooth Fairy/Easter Bunny thing quite well with her little sisters.

If only we could keep this small always! They grow so fast and it is sad sometimes.

I had a dream an awesome dream

Or so the song goes.

What dream was I dreaming you ask? Well it was a good one. I woke up running to tell Bruce all about it, poor guy didn't know what was coming. While it was a relatively short dream the part about me watching my Brucie in labour and having a "baby" well was unforgettable. Why on earth I dreamt that is beyond me? But there it was my hubby wanting to "grab" on to things because the "pain was so bad" and then bam we had a baby all wrapped up. Then I woke up.

See it was short but a fun one. Now to those that have given birth to 1-2-3 or those that have had 15! Can you imagine our "better" halves doing all that. Myself not so much, while Bruce was an awesome coach could he push a baby out of some little spot?? I guess not.

What do people want to know?

As I start up this blogging thing I sit and think hmmm what do people out there who might happen upon this little bit about me want to know?

Is there such things as to little? to much? in between? I imagine as time goes on that things will kinda wind their way down a road meant for me. Until then well bear with me. Having been a reader for awhile now I look at this whole set up and think man there is alot that I need to learn! I'm not exactly a computer whiz, which leads to alot of uh-oh's LOL.

I have come across a great many writers out there that make me think WOW how can little old me follow in their shoes?
